Since I started my business back in 1979 I’ve painted thousands of walls interior/exterior. About 90% were rolled and 10% sprayed.
I enjoy my painting business, meeting new people and making houses look new again, but when I spray large areas paint overspray is unavoidable, which requires extensive masking.
So I developed a way to contain the overspray making it cleaner & healthier, while saving time on masking.
Quality is number 1, but speed is also very important because painters must commandeer the customers property long enough to complete the work.
Customers want the highest quality, but they also want it done quickly so they can have their privacy back and resume their business.
In 2016 I designed a simple attachment for a spray gun to contain the overspray, while simultaneously back rolling. I acquired a full utility patent on the tool in 2019. “PaintBlazer”
“PaintBlazer” attaches to any airless spray gun or swivel pole to contain paint overspray, while back-rolling at the same time.
It can snap on and off within seconds.
Steve Jobs opinion on Quality, which is my number one priority for my painting business and any new tools I develop.
