Standard procedures

       INTERIOR

  • Select all color
  • Set-up working space
  • Move furniture and other items
  • Remove doorknobs, switch plates, drapes, any item that needs to be moved 
  • Mask flooring, counter tops, and protect furniture
  • Sand & clean walls (medium grit) to remove flaws and prepare for better bonding of paint.
  • Sand trim and doors with fine sandpaper, 220 grit.
  • Dust and clean all surfaces.
  • Plaster, patch where needed, calk seems and cracks.
  • Prime wherever needed.
  • Paint normally ceilings first, then crown molding, then walls, then doors and baseboards last.
  • Clean up and put everything back.


EXTERIOR

  

  • Select all colors 
  • Move patio furniture and other items out of the way.
  • Trench wherever needed. Digging a few inches below ground level.
  • Close all windows and doors then wash or hose down the exterior.
  • Drop cloth and masking 
  • Stucco patch wherever needed. Wood patch, Bondo and calking.
  • Prime wherever needed.
  • If spraying then thoroughly mask all windows, hardware, concrete, etc.
  • Spray stucco, eves and wood siding, etc.
  • Roll and brush trim including facial board, doors, etc.
  • Detail work and final inspection
  • Clean-up 


After work completion and clean up leave the customer extra paint for future touch-up. 


Label the cans so they know which rooms they're for.
