I humbly request you review this information in hopes of receiving a letter of endorsement for a new product that will significantly improve health and the environment.
PaintBlazer prevents harmful overspray from getting into people’s lungs, eyes and skin. It also prevents toxic spray dust from getting into the environment.
American contractors apply as much as 200 million gallons of paint annually in the United States alone. Millions of gallons are sprayed with an airless paint sprayer. An average of 15% of paint volume is lost in the atmosphere which ends up in the environment.
Paint overspray drifts onto trees, plants, flowers and animals. Workers performing spray paint operations quite often breathe much of that spray dust. According to OSHA they are at a high risk for respiratory exposure, but because spraying can be so profitable painters will probably continue this application for decades to come.
The airless sprayer has been on the market since 1957 and is by far the fastest method of painting. It can deliver up to a gallon of paint per minute or more.
An average bedroom can be sprayed out in 4 minutes. Trim and small areas are generally brush and rolled, but most large areas such as drywall, popcorn ceilings, stucco, wood siding and rough texture are sprayed.
I personally sprayed a 3,800 square foot house complete in less than 6 hours. Brushing and rolling would have taken me at least 3 times as long. The biggest problem is the overspray. It can ruin the environment and your health quickly. Overspray can drift onto neighbors’ cars, flowers, landscaping etc.
There were times when I sprayed exteriors and the wind picked up and blew paint spray onto neighbors’ cars. I learned a few lessons the hard way. Extensive masking can minimize the damage, but overspray cannot be eliminated without PaintBlazer.
Wearing masks and protective gear can help, but your eyes are still exposed to the spray mist. You can’t wear goggles because they fog up immediately and you must be able to see what you’re painting.
I’ve sprayed hundreds of ceilings myself with protective gear, but had to keep my eyes open to see, therefore all I could do was squint my eyes and hope for the best. Without PaintBlazer there’s no way to avoid getting spray dust particles in your eyes.
I designed this tool to contain the overspray and prevent toxic dust from escaping. It was made to get the job done 3 times faster, while saving time in masking. It can save 10 – 15% of the paint that would otherwise be wasted in overspray. The health benefits are priceless.
PaintBlazer gives me the ability to spray and roll simultaneously without having to mask. The quality is much better for 2 main reasons…
1. The spray fan is centered directly on the surface. Normally spray guns get tilted at an angle causing additional overspray. PaintBlazer keeps the spray fan centered directly on the surface.
2. The rollers perform the vital task of sealing in the overspray, while simultaneously laying off the sprayed-on finish. This insures a thick, even, consistent coat of paint with every single stroke. The sprayer does all the muscle work enabling the painter to glide across the surface at incredible speeds. It rolls like a toy sports car.
According to statistics 70-80% of painters don’t wear masks or protective gear when spraying. Some people suffer serious health problems when breathing too much overspray.
I designed this tool with a special pocket and retainer that fits all universal, standard OSHA approved airless spray guns and poles. This is a lightweight tool that snaps on and off within seconds.
It’s fast, fun, clean, healthy, easy to use and profitable to the painter. It’s a major improvement in the painting industry, good for the consumers and good for the environment.
Millions of gallons of toxic paint spray dust will continue to be dumped into the environment until PaintBlazer is in use.
Thank you
