One of the reasons I invented this tool was to eliminate toxic overspray, or at least significantly reduce it.
I probably sprayed over 500 houses over the years & experienced the pain of getting toxic spray dust in my eyes, lungs and skin.
Wearing masks helps, but you can’t cover your eyes, because you need them to see. Goggles clog up with paint dust immediately, so you must leave your eyes exposed.
When spraying exteriors about 90% of the area is flat stucco or wood walls that can be rolled, and perhaps 10% should be sprayed, like eves and patio covers.
With my new tool rolling will be so incredibly fast it will be more feasible and cost effective to roll the walls instead of spraying, and this will prevent toxic spray dust from getting into your eyes, lungs, and the environment.
It may not eliminate 100% of airless spraying, but it will very likely eliminate 50%-80% of it, and that will be a major health benefit.
Regular rolling with the 9” is too slow on stucco walls, but my tool will make it 3 times faster and the 18” with my tool will make it about 5-6 times faster, with no overspray.
And no overspray will not only save your eyes and lungs, but many hours of masking.
It also eliminates toxic spray dust from getting into the environment.
Most people will probably use the 6”, 9” and 18” roller for interiors and exteriors, but if they do need to go super-fast, they can always use the 36” roller with my tool.
